Anniston police Capt. Allen George said a fight occurred between two women on Aug. 28 around 7 p.m. on the 1900 block of Rocky Hollow Road.
A 28-year-old woman told police she had an argument with 30-year-old Keya Denise Watson earlier that day, and that she later confronted Watson to resolve the dispute, George said.
The victim told police she threatened to beat Watson up and the two started fighting in the street, George said.
During the fight, Watson allegedly used a razor blade and cut the victim on her calf, neck and chest. George said the cuts were minor and the woman did not require medical treatment.
Watson was charged Tuesday morning with second-degree assault, a felony, according to a police report.
Watson was released on a $10,000 bond from the Anniston City Jail Tuesday afternoon. A court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 7.
