Alabama at 70% in census returns

Seventy percent of Alabama’s 2010 Census forms were returned through the mail, besting the 66 percent rate in 2000, according to the state.

A total of 53 Alabama counties exceeded their mail participation rates from 2000, and one county met its previous rate. The mail participation rate is the percentage of forms mailed back by households that received them.
