TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama took the practice field on a nice day in Tuscaloosa.

Here are some takeaways:

--Tight end Brian Vogler (ankle) was back with his position group and wore a regular jersey. Vogler was limited and watched drills.

--Running back T.J. Yeldon (ankle) continued to watch drills and carry a football.

--Tight end O.J. Howard (knee) moved well through drills after taking it easy on Monday and Tuesday.

--Cornerback Deion Belue stood around for the most part during the media's viewing period. This is just precautionary.

--Scouts from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers watched practice.

Up next: Tide coach Nick Saban and select players will address reporters following practice.
