TUSCALOOSA -- We're just minutes away from the big game. Both teams have hit the field for pregame warmups and both Alabama and LSU looked pumped for this one.
Here are some pregame notes:
--Kickoff has been pushed to 7:10 p.m. CT.
--There are a ton of recruits at this game. I'm sure the outcome of this one will help some of these kids make their decisions.
--Cyrus Jones was named the starter at cornerback in the pregame video opposite Deion Belue. Jones also lined up with the first defensive group.
--John Fulton and Maurice Smith lined up at cornerback in the second defensive group.
--Nose tackle Brandon Ivory is with the team and will likely start.
--Quarterback AJ McCarron, linebacker C.J. Mosley and right guard Anthony Steen are Alabama's captains.
--Safety Vinnie Sunseri was spotted walking on the field without crutches.
Things to watch for throughout the game:
--Pay close attention to how Alabama defends Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. I expect they'll give some safety help early on to avoid giving up a big play.
--Look for Les Miles to use a trick play or two to try to catch Alabama off guard.
--If Alabama is stuffing LSU's run, will they stick to it or put the game in Zach Mettenberger's hands early?
--Will Alabama look to throw to set up the run or run to set up the pass? LSU's corners have given up a few big plays throughout the year.
