Selma police officer charged with receiving stolen property

A Selma police offi­cer was arrested Wednesday and charged with receiving a stolen ri­fle that was found in the trunk of his patrol car.

Police Chief William Riley said officer Robert Johnson was ar­rested at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a misdemeanor in connection with the stolen proper­ty offense in October.
