To all PACT Contract Holders, Family Members, and Supporters
This message is an attempt to assist in reaching the 48,000 Alabama PACT (Prepaid Affordable College Tuition) holders and any family members connected to those who own a contract.
The Alabama PACT program has had major fiscal losses due to market investment losses, and the future of the program is currently in question. Being that the future of 48,000 children and their families within Alabama are now in limbo concerning their PREPAID college tuition, a group of contract holders have converged and are working together to communicate fears, researching ways to support and encourage legislatures to save the program, etc. called Save Alabama PACT.
Save Alabama PACT is an attempt to try and insure that ALL PACT contracts are fulfilled! Please visit our site, at www.savealabamapact.com, join our email list, and join in on the discussion on the forum!
We also have a Facebook group – Save Alabama PACT!
You can NOT wait and hope that someone else will save this program – we need ALL the support of those affected!
If you are not a PACT contract holder, PLEASE FORWARD this message on to your contact lists! We need to insure that they are aware of the seriousness surrounding the future of their children’s education and future of the State of Alabama!
The State Treasurer’s office refuses to release contact information for the contract holders and we have no option but to work through our contacts within the state to reach others affected by these issues. Thank you for your assistance! You can reach co-founder of Save Alabama PACT, Patti Lambert at pattilambert@charter.net.
