Church members and citizens braved heavy rain and lightning Saturday morning during a Walk of the Cross event in Wedowee. It was a pray walk to experience carrying the Cross of Jesus did on Good Friday. The community was invited to join in throughout the walk and carry the cross and ask for prayer along the route.
