City of Anniston officials have called a town hall-style meeting for Tuesday at Cane Creek Golf Course to address their plans for the 18-hole facility and the recent concerns of local golfers have expressed about its operation. The meeting is set for 5:30 p.m. in the golf course’s 19th Hole Grill, and organizers expect it to last no more than two hours.

Anniston’s Terry Preston, 65, scored a hole-in-one there playing with regular weekend partners Mike Fincher, Bill Fincher and Bobby Hunter. He used an 8-iron from 123 yards and watched the ball disappear into the cup after two bounces.
