On Oct. 7 and 8, more than 1,000 4th graders from area schools visited the park and museum, and the following week the Park hosted the first American Indian Festival. Johnson’s reports in The Star on these events contributed to an overflow crowd for the 14th Annual Janney Furnace OhatcheeFest. Thank you again.
Please remember that Janney Furnace Park and Museum are free to the public. If you have a school group, church group, senior group or any other group that would like to arrange for a guided tour of the park, please call me at 256-310-3910, or the Janney Furnace Museum at 256-892-5198. More than 9,000 visitors came through our museum the first year.
Thanks Calhoun County for all your support.
