Anniston Police say they suspect arson in a Blue Mountain house fire that occurred early Monday, Capt. Richard Smith said.

The fire damaged the home, located at the corner of Oakridge Avenue and Pelham Street, but did not result in injuries. The blaze left some parts of the residence damaged, burning a hole in the roof, but did not damage the entire home.

Police did not offer further details on why arson was suspected.

Smith said police have leads in the case though no arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning.
