On behalf of the Salvation Army of Anniston, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Calhoun County community for the wonderful support given to the Salvation Army over the Christmas season. Since my arrival in Anniston, I continue to be amazed by the generosity of the people of this city and county. We are truly blessed to have so many faithful supporters of our programs and ministry. The community concern and care for those in need is highly commendable.

Our 2010 Red Kettle Campaign raised more than $61,400. These funds were used to provide Christmas assistance to more than 5,000 individuals through our various programs and services. In addition, the Red Kettle Campaign provides support for our Family Service and Community Center programs throughout the year.

Once again, many thanks to the Calhoun County community for its outstanding support of Salvation Army programs. We pledge to all our supporters that their contributions will be used wisely to “do the most good.”

May God bless the Calhoun County community.
