A woman is being treated at RMC after a two-car wreck on Quintard Avenue this morning.

Around 8:07 a.m., a silver Nissan Altima being driven by an 18-year-old woman was headed north in the outside lane on Quintard Avenue, according to Anniston police.

A witness said she ran the traffic light at Quintard and 11th Street and hit the driver side of a red Mazda Tribute headed west on 11th Street, causing it to roll over once.

Police estimate the Nissan was going the speed limit, around 35 mph.

The 61-year-old driver of the Mazda was was taken to Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Neither driver was identified by police this morning.

Anniston fire and police responded to the scene, which was clear with all lanes open for travel within the hour.
