Annual Strive to be Alive conference scheduled

The 2011 annual health and wellness extravaganza “Strive to be Alive” is to be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday at the Anniston City Meeting Center. The event is being hosted by Healthy Horizons and Regional Medical Center. Keynote speakers include John Croyle of the Big Oak Ranch and former Auburn and now professional Tampa Bay Buccaneers football player Carnell “Cadillac” Williams' father, Aaron Turner. The event will end with Mickey Dean’s “Laughter is the Best Medicine” benefit show. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Calhoun County Relay for Life.
