The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Oscar B. Black Jr. and the late Mrs. Inez E. Black of Purvis, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Knight of Hattiesburg, Miss.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the Mr. and Mrs. Billy Sims of Oxford and the late Mrs. Fannie Jenkins, formerly of Talladega.
Miss Knight is a graduate of Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Miss. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s of science in business administration with a degree in human resource management. She is employed by Cintas Corporation as a sales representative.
Mr. Jenkins is a graduate of Oxford High School in Oxford. He is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in exercise science and wellness. He is employed by Personnel Staffing, Inc. as an account executive.
The wedding will be 5 p.m. June 4, 2011, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Myatt.
