The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Marvin and Barbara Parris of Wellington and Ralph and Merle Sims of Piedmont.
Miss Sims is a graduate of Oxford High School and University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is employed by MRI of North Alabama Shoals Radiology Associates in Muscle Shoals.
The prospective groom is the grandson of John and Charlene Larmour of Caledonia, Miss., and the late Bob and Dot Wilson, formerly of Columbus, Miss.
Mr. Larmour is a graduate of Caledonia High School and the Ole Miss. He is employed by Sysco Foods in Birmingham.
The wedding will be August 6, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church.
