Four scholarships were awarded in June by JSU Wellness-Anniston through its Single Mom Seminar program. The scholarship program goals are to offer empowerment, education, encouragement, recognition and support. The recipients of the scholarships included Bethany Crook, Lisa Cribbs, Deanna Gerritsen and Kanesha Williams.

The JSU Wellness-Anniston scholarship committee includes Fred Smith, director of JSU Wellness-Anniston; Rebecca Turner, director of Career Services; Linda Shelton, Career Services counselor; Debbie Taylor, assistant director of Student Life; and Dr. John Hammett, dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies.
