The week-long program includes sessions on decision-making, relationship skills, career possibilities and table etiquette. Grooming sessions focus on skin care, nail care, hair care and clothing selection. Sessions on posture and runway modeling skills round out the week as the girls prepare for the “Big Reveal” at the end of the week for parents and close friends.
More than 75 volunteers serve as presenters, salon contributors, food preparers, shopping aides, transportation providers, decorators, computer tech support and more this year. Be Extreme Inside and Out would not be possible without these volunteers.
Girls are selected for Be Extreme through a process that includes an application and a face-to-face interview with volunteers. Once each class completes the program, they become alumnae of the program. Alums meet during the school year and have programs, service projects and outings.
