Christopher Sampson, 36, of Jacksonville was driving northbound around 6:50 a.m. when his 2005 Jeep Cherokee left the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its side, said Anniston police investigator Roy Bennett.
No other cars were involved, Bennett said.
Sampson was taken to Regional Medical Center, treated for injuries and released, Bennett said.
The cause of the crash, Bennett said, is still under investigation.
