I played all sports in Demopolis for Coach Lott and ask you to reach out and support Phil Murphy for continued service to your area and to the schools in the county. His efforts have been tremendous, not only for the county but for the state of Alabama.
“Reaching out” is something that comes natural for Phil, and I ask for your support and help in getting this good man re-elected. Your vote is most important, but your assistance would be greatly appreciated by Phil and others working to make sure your kids are protected and brought up as you and I were.
Another coach, Paul W. Bryant, said to us often, “It is a sin to be ‘ordinary,’” and I can assure you that Phil is not “ordinary.” He is someone special who lives in your great city.
