First, illegal immigrants should not be here. They should be trying to become legal citizens or go back to their country. If neither is happening, they should be sent back to their country — paid for by less U.S. aid being sent to their country.
If they are paying taxes, that means their employers are taking it out of their checks and sending that to the Internal Revenue Service. To fix this problem, the IRS should know it is taxes from illegal immigrants because it is receiving money with no Social Security numbers related to it. The IRS should call the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which would shut down the business and deport the illegal immigrants.
A child born in this country to an illegal immigrant is by law a U.S. citizen. I agree with that law, but the parents aren’t legal. So gather up the whole family and send them home again. When the child is old enough, he or she can return and start a new life as a legal citizen.
A business shut down by ICE can’t use the excuse that it can’t survive without illegal-immigrant labor. How did it stay in business prior to hiring illegal immigrants? If it was going out of business and its managers decided to hire illegal immigrants, they decided to break the law. If they started a business with the intent to hire illegal immigrants, it should be shut down and they should go to prison.
These are easy answers to the question Washington has a problem with. If you are worried about getting votes by sending home illegal immigrants, answer this: how are they voting for you as an illegal person in the United States? Wake up, Washington, and do your job.
