On behalf of Ohatchee High School and the Cooper family, we extend our extreme gratitude for your kindness during this difficult time. Without your help, I am not sure the family would have been able to have closure and a sense of peace.

Ohatchee has always been a community full of love and support, especially for those in need. It seems in the last year we have experienced many difficult and trying times. Without the love and support of our surrounding communities and businesses, I am not sure our families or our children would have had much of a future. I know it gives our students, who will be the future of Alabama, a reason to pass on blessings and support in the future when they are in the same position you are.

Thank you not only for your financial support, but also for helping to instill values and compassion in our students and parents. In helping the Cooper family, you have also helped an entire community. While the healing process for Leslie and her extended family will be a long one, I know it will make it easier to endure simply because of how many people love and care about her. Again, thank you for all you have done to make this process as painless and worriless as it possibly could be.
