Garrett is a licensed professional counselor and serves as the executive director of GCC. She earned her education specialist in community agency counseling and a master’s degree in agency counseling from Jacksonville State University. She has a bachelors degree in human development and family studies from Samford University. Specializing in counseling children, adolescents and families, she provides support in areas relating to behavior modification, relationship issues, boundaries, substance abuse, domestic violence and stress management.
Garrett is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Alabama Counseling Association, where she serves as president-elect of ALCA Chapter V.
