I read The Anniston Star every day, and I know and understand that it is a hometown newspaper and must report both good and bad in our local communities. But really, guys, three pages — and I don’t mean three small pages — dedicated totally to the man who has caused this community nothing but embarrassment; cost this community lots of money in lawyer fees; and caused the community to be the laughing-stock of not just Alabama but the entire Southeast?
I’m sure some of our dedicated men and women of this community have not been given the space or the opportunity for such coverage. Really, Annistonians, is this the image you wish to carry in the history books?
