Looking for Christine Nelson

My wife Sheila had her 81st birthday on April 3. We married in 1955, and throughout our married life, she’s had two “U.S. connections.” Her older sister married an American military policeman in 1945. He was wounded on D-Day-plus-one in northern France. We never visited them in their New Jersey home, but Sheila and her sister wrote regularly to one another.

Her other American connection was with Christine Nelson of 1120 Quintard Ave., Anniston, Alabama. Sheila and Christine became good pen friends during wartime school days. Sheila was then Sheila Smith of Monks Road, Winchester, England.
