The bride-elect is the granddaughter Bonnie Stephens of Munford and the late Ralph Stephens and the late Herman and Beatrice McNeal, formerly of Talladega.
Miss McNeal is a graduate of Wuerzburg American High School and University of Phoenix. She is employed by Dr. Jennifer Alverson.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late John O. and Sally Childers, formerly of Talladega, and the late Willie O. and Bessie Mizzell, formerly of Munford.
Mr. Mizzell is a graduate of Oxford High School and Harry M. Ayers State Technical College. He is the owner of Mizzell Heating and Air Conditioning.
The wedding will be 5 p.m. May 19, 2012, at Coldwater Baptist Church.
