Tax season is over and the RSVP free income-tax program saw an increase of 8 percent from last year. Thanks to all the volunteers who were committed for the past three months in preparing tax returns for citizens of Calhoun County.

Special thanks to the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama for funding this project, and to United Way of East Central Alabama, the cities of Jacksonville and Weaver, and the Oxford Public Library for providing the office space for the program. Hope to see you next year.
