The senator’s remarks, blaming President Barack Obama for the Secret Service debacle (a classless, but not surprising, statement anytime), on the same day that the University of Alabama football team was being honored at the White House for its performance on and off the field, took his crude ignorance to a new level.
It’s no wonder so many people in this country, as well as the world, see Alabamians as ignorant hicks.
As an alumnus of the University of Alabama, I would expect more from a fellow alumnus, but obviously Sessions missed the lecture on “class.”
It’s disgusting. And pitiful.
