Ms. Liza R. Graham and Mr. Andrew Singletary of Lake City, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Adrian A. Singletary, to Sherman D. McLester, son of William E. and Catherine E. McLester of Anniston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of David and Ada Mae Singletary-McCray of Camertown Community, S.C., and the late Ishamael Singletary.

Miss Singletary is a graduate of Lake City High School and a 2009 cum laude graduate of Clafin University in South Carolina with a major in biology. She is employed by Honda of Timmonsville, S.C.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late William and Francis McLester, formerly of Anniston and Felix and Thelma Henry of Anniston.

Mr. McLester is a graduate of Anniston High School. He is employed by Honda Manufacturing of Alabama.

The wedding will be June 30, 2012, with Bishop Amos Major (Elder Pearl Major) performing the ceremony.
