Nancy Miller Stimpson of Mobile and William Maury Vandervoort of Anniston were married June 23, 2012, at Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile. The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey L. Wilson and the Rev. Robert Leslie Grafe Jr., cousin of the bride, performed the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Sandys Stimpson of Mobile.

Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Luckie Vandervoort of Anniston.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Miller of Brewton and Mr. and Mrs. William Herbert Stimpson of Mobile.

Grandparents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mertz Vandervoort of Guntersville and the late Mrs. Ken Luckie Vandervoort and the late Mr. and Mrs. Maury Drane Smith, formerly of Montgomery.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Virginia Stimpson Jeffery, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Beth Moloney Stimpson, Christina Morgan Stimpson, Dr. Lucile Vandervoort Morris, Taylor Christian Stimpson, Amelia Fan Stimpson, Allison Hope Shackleford and Pamela Ann Margaret Hanes.

The best man was Dr. Kenneth Luckie Vandervoort, father of the groom.

Groomsmen were Dr. Kenneth Luckie Vandervoort Jr., Dr. Andrew Charles Morris, John Caldwell Moultrie, Paul Vandervoort Moultrie, William Herbert Stimpson II, Sands Miller Stimpson and Wallace Garner Jeffery III.

The flower girl was Ann Gray Jeffery, niece.

Ring bearers were, nephews, Charles Stimpson Jeffery and Samuel Garner Jeffery.

Honorary bridesmaids were Holly Lauren Hutchinson, Katie Leigh Rayford and Caitlin Harris Terry, Elizabeth Rita McDonald, Caroline Mitchell Simons, Jessica Pettis Black, Adeline Black Mancuso and Austin Claire Vollmer.

Ushers were Bradford Nathan Brown, Robert Lister Crosby Jr., Thomas Schram Woodroof III, Jere Cooper Trent II, William Preuitt Stanford, Stephen Tyler Ledford, Barrett Lowe Bradford, Richard Franklin Barber Jr., and Wade Martin Svendson Jr.

Readers were Frances Lacy Radcliff and Katherine Amanda Melton.

Acolytes were Samuel Stephen Moultrie, Julia Katherine Tully.

Program attendants were Sally Goodwin Moultrie, Anna Riggs Tully and Mary Goodwin Tully.

The reception was held at the home of the bride in Birmingham.

The couple went on a honeymoon trip to Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands.
