Police Monday named two additional men as suspects in the shooting death of an Oxford man on Saturday night.

Oxford police have issued warrants for Terry Shondell Thomas, 25, and Rapheal Lamar Simmons, 23, both of Talladega for murder in the death of Barry Wright, 50. Wright was shot to death at his home on Alice Street sometime between 8 and 8:15 p.m. Saturday, according to Oxford Police.

The two are also charged with attempted murder. Oxford police Lt. L.G. Owens said there was another victim in the crime. Owens would not release the victim’s name, saying the investigation was still open.

Another suspect, Cameron Lavorus White, 29, also of Talladega, was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder Sunday. He is being held at the Oxford city jail on a $1 million bond.

Owens said he could not release further details about the crime, noting it was an open homicide investigation.
