Be prepared, Anniston. A visionary leader desires to be your city councilman for Ward 3. From working on the farms of Stockdale, waiting tables in restaurants and organizing activities for the youth, Seyram Selase is tireless in his efforts to serve people.

One of my proudest moments as his mom happened in July 2011. Seyram was chosen to appear at the Congressional Briefing On College Affordability in Washington. He effectively spoke on the merits of the Pell Grant. Seyram is the enthusiastic panelist on the TV show, Can U Relate. This show has awarded several scholarships to deserving graduates of Anniston High School. There are several community-based organizations in which Seyram actively serves for the city.

Know this Anniston, Seyram believes in the Word of God that states in Habakkuk 2:2, “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” My son has a plan and is willing to serve.

Be sure you have registered to vote by Aug. 17 at the Chamber of Commerce. Your vote is needed on Aug. 28 for Seyram Selase.
