Anniston needs but most importantly deserves effective leadership, a vision if you will. Someone who will make what has appeared to be impossible possible by engaging all residents. Someone who will make impractical practical.
As I ride through the neighborhoods of the city where I was born and raised, remembering what once was but now has become, I am to the point of heartbreak. Nevertheless, I am still hopeful. Hopeful for there is a catalyst. One who has a natural inclination of what will bring about newness to the city of Anniston. One who has placed a burning back in the hearts of the residents and is igniting minds on the new city of Anniston with a thriving economy, more educated children and safer neighborhoods in which to live and for our children to play.
I ask that you be open to change and change to open the door to a new direction that will help make his vision for Anniston become a reality, because “where there is no vision, the people perish.”
Elect “A New Vision,” Seyram Selase, City Council Ward 3.
