Our young people have gone out and gotten the education and training they need for the community. We older people need to stand behind them and show our support; we also need to help them achieve the goals we have set for them.

We can’t keep supporting older people who are only thinking about themselves and are no longer giving our community the support that is needed. We call our city councilmen and they won’t answer the phone, call us back or even talk to us about problems in our community. We need to support our young people who still have an ear to hear what the community is saying. These young candidates have a vision and a dream for our city.

I support David Reddick for the City Council because he has a dream and a vision to see the city of Anniston move forward in economic and school growth. He has a plan for our streets, schools and the city as a whole. He will invest in the leadership of our city. We have too many young people who are going astray, and if we don’t show our young people now that we will support and stand behind them, they will continue to go astray.

The future of our city is at stake and we have to realize that standing behind them will make life easier for us as well.
