Britni Terrell was recently awarded $3,500 as the 2011-2012 winner of the Justice Janie L. Shores scholarship by the Alabama Law Foundation. Terrell is a juris doctor candidate for May 2014 at the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa. She is in the top 20% of her class and is the junior editor for the Journal of Legal Profession. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a degree in history and political science in May 2011. Her undergraduate accolades include participation in the University Honors program and being a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship.

Terrell was recognized at the Maude McLure Kelly award luncheon during the annual State Bar meeting.
