Charlie and Ann Gibbs of Hilton Head Island, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Ann Gibbs, to Robert Fredrick Davie Jr., son of Carroll Davie and Robert Davie, of Anniston.

Miss Gibbs is a graduate of The University of Alabama, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is employed by MarketSource as a recruiter.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Fred and Roberta Davie, formerly of Anniston and the late Oliver and Frances Kinsgley, formerly of Ozark.

Mr. Davie is a graduate of Auburn University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity. He is employed by Davie’s School Supply.

The wedding will be Oct. 13, 2012, at Peachtree Road Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga.
