The Star is a biased, left-wing newspaper. Its articles constantly attack Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. (One article and one editorial, both negative, were in The Star on Sept. 19 and on the same subject).

Romney was not correct when he said 47 percent of Americans do not pay income tax. According to the Tax Policy Center, 46.4 percent of households pay no income tax.

Where is The Star’s article on President Obama stating that he believed in redistribution of wealth? Obama is doing a great job redistributing the wealth. Look at the dramatic increases in food stamps and Social Security disabilities, the $800 billion-plus taken from Medicare to pay for Obamacare, and the $5 trillion debt in four years.

I worked 38 years and do not want Obama redistributing my meager income to lazy non-workers. I can make my own choice as to who receives my contributions, not Obama.
