As a former Town Council member, I can really appreciate the job Steve has done during his first term as mayor. Even though it is a part-time position, he has treated it as a full-time job. He brought with him a wealth of experience in financial and resource management, which has allowed him to institute sound fiscal policies and put accountability back into our town government.
Perhaps most importantly, he recognizes the need for cooperation and teamwork with the Town Council and can provide the leadership to make it happen. Please join me in voting for Steve Baswell for mayor of Ohatchee on Tuesday.
