How about The Star’s decision-makers give us, as readers and subscribers, an easy way to decide if we like the new version or the old? Would it even matter to them? Or do we just have to take it or leave it? Why do so much about the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, which mostly concerns only those in the chamber looking for their own picture or business? Let’s replace that with a simple two-page TV listing that can be pulled out to keep all week, folded in a user-friendly half with current cable channels, movies, etc., listed? Will we be given a chance to vote? How about it?
While I’m complaining, The Star messed up the comics, too. Take a survey to see who reads Prince Valiant. Ugh! I like Hi and Lois. Let’s vote; that’s what is on everyone’s minds these days. Let’s get down to what’s really important to your readers: the obits, comics, TV and Dear Abby. If it weren’t for local obits, I am afraid The Star wouldn’t have much of a readership. What do you think?
