Why is The Star so liberal?

Why does The Star almost exclusively push liberal causes and denigrate conservative ones? Your choice and the repetitive running of stories show the liberal-progressive bent imbedded in the psyche of The Star. Your editorial page even furthers the liberal perception.

Why have you, to the best of my knowledge, never run the noted black conservative Thomas Sowell’s column? I’ve been a fan of his for 20 years, and his posts are clear, logical and well-researched (I’m informed he does his own work).
