As vice president of the Berman Museum of History’s Alliance Board, I would like to personally thank the Kiwanis Club of Anniston for its continued support of our community.

The club works tirelessly each year to raise funds for charitable projects through its annual Pancake Day. Many of the not-for-profits in Anniston receive funding from the Kiwanis Club, which also hosts its annual back-to-school shopping for the children in need in our area.

I particularly want to thank it for its gift to the Berman Museum of History, which allowed us to hold a free family day at the museum giving children the opportunity to make puppets with the aid of the Puppetry Arts Center from Atlanta. Many families visited the museum for the first time and most were in awe of the treasures on display and the variety of artifacts.

I am sincerely grateful for the generosity of the members in this civic organization and appreciate your service to our community.
