Anniston Star - Club raises money with dancing event

The Anniston Morning Rotary Club raised more than $83,000 with its “2012 Dancing with Our Stars” event held in October. Local programs will share in the proceeds. The dance competition winners in the juried category were first place, Mike Tyson and Dr. Susan C. LeCoq; second place, Wayne Willis and Belinda Levy; and third place, Dr. Naresh Purohit and Ginger Marsh. The audience choice category winners were first place, Mike Tyson and Dr. Susan C. LeCoq; second place, Dr. Naresh Purohit and Ginger Marsh; and third place, Dr. Almena Free and Jeff Gossett. The community choice category winners (most money raised) were first place, Dr. Naresh Purohit and Ginger Marsh; second place, Kenny Burell and Edith Kennedy Couch; and third place, Jamie Pruitt and Mim Miles.
