A recent issue of The Star was handed to me so that I could read the article about Jim Nabors. Jim has come a long way, for which I’m proud.
If my memory is correct (at age 86), Jim and his family lived across the street from my family and me when the two of us were young children. He was an asthmatic early in life, as was I. To be an overcomer and be where he is today is quite an accomplishment.
I have several of his tapes. His father was Fred, his mother was Ruth and he had two sisters, Freddie Mae and Ruth. I’d like to know where his sisters are today and what they’re doing. Maybe there’s someone who knows and will share this information. Thanks.
