Anniston Star - Wade 50th anniversary

Eldred and Charlene (Fay) Wade of Alexandria celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 2, 2012, at Hill Crest Baptist Church. The event was hosted by their children.

Children and their spouses include James S. and Angela (Smith) Wade; Timothy E. and Kimberly (Jackson) Wade, all of Alexandria; Michael C. and Melissa (Higgins) Wade of Birmingham (Vestavia Hills).

Grandchildren include Zak Wade of Tampa, Fla.; Candice and River Kiener of Alexandria; Benjamin Wade of Alexandria; Camden Wade and Charlee Wade of Birmingham (Vestavia Hills).

The couple was married Dec. 9, 1962, in Buchanan, Ga.
