Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Beecher Rose of Spring Garden and Atlanta celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Seasons 52 Restaurant in Atlanta, Ga., the week of Christmas. They were joined by their sons, daughters-in-law and three grandchildren from Columbia, Md., and Cumming, Ga., for the event.

The couple was married Dec. 25, 1952, at the parsonage of the Spring Garden Methodist Church. The Rev. Luther Brown performed the ceremony.

Since their marriage in 1952, Blanche and Beecher Rose have lived in Spring Garden; Columbia, S.C.; Auburn and Huntsville; Athens and Atlanta, Ga. During those 60 years they have maintained close ties with family in Spring Garden and continue to maintain residences in Spring Garden and Atlanta.

Blanche is the daughter of the late Fred and Eddie Acker and sister of Earl Acker and Hycie Lee Reedy of Spring Garden. Beecher is the son of the late Charlie and Virginia Rose, formerly of Savannah, Tenn.
