If Alabama and Notre Dame are college football’s heaviest hitters, you’d think tickets to their BCS title game would have been the priciest ever.
Well, not exactly.
Don’t get us wrong; ticket brokers set all sorts of sales records on this game. But ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported Monday that Stubhub, a secondary ticket broker, said its average ticket sale price was $1,703 — down from last year’s average price ($1,815).
Hey, it’s only money.
Might as well buy two, right?
