Yakima County, Wash. deputy prosecutor Ken Ramm said James Long of Weaver was arrested on Saturday in Yakima and charged with either theft or burglary stemming from a Dec. 15, 2011 incident in Oxford.
Ramm said there was some confusion about Long’s charges. A complaint filed said the man was wanted for theft of property, while the warrant for his arrest was for third-degree burglary.
The incident occurred at 111 Alyssa Lane in Oxford.
Ramm said he’d been assigned to the case, but declined further comment and said investigators we’re still sorting through the incident.
Attempts to reach officials at the Yakima County Department of Corrections Monday were unsuccessful.
