Anniston police were called to Regional Medical Center after an incident caused an 18-year-old man to seek medical attention for a cut on his throat, Lt. Fred Forsythe said. The cut was considered non-life threatening, according to the lieutenant.
Police arrested Shaina Lynn Cline, 21, of Anniston, at the hospital at 10:59 a.m. Sunday. She was charged with felony domestic violence.
Forsythe said police spoke to Cline and the victim, Cline’s boyfriend, and determined a physical altercation occurred between the two at a residence on the 4000 block of Whiteside Drive.
Accordingly to the victim’s report to police, Cline threw a glass coffee pot at him during the altercation, which cut his neck.
Cline was in the Anniston City Jail as of Monday morning with a $15,000 bond. State records show Cline has a court date scheduled for Mar. 4.
