Thanks to irrational panic there are more people legally and illegally armed than at any time since I can remember. “Kumbaya,” “We Are The World” and “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing” have become the beloved songs of the left-wing liberals. The United States is on a downward spiral that, unless stopped, will lead to untoward consequences effecting negatively on all of our lives.
The Arab world is and has been for some time falling apart, Europe is plagued by riots and failing economies, Africa is no better off and, to top all this, Russia and China continue to prosper as never before to the chagrin of our foreign, liberal experts. Let’s all join hands and sing the aforementioned songs and also “Let The Rest Of The World Go By” and surely by the second song everything will be just “Fine And Dandy.” Peace and love abounding, bluebirds of happiness, blue skies above, mortgage foreclosures accelerated, the dollar worth a nickel, skyrocketing unemployment, and the economy in the tank.
However, look yonder, faithful liberals, there’s a rainbow in the sky along with pie in the sky. Of course, everyone will be monetarily equal, billions of dollars still being funneled overseas to countries that despise us and continue to kill our and allied troops. Now everybody sing loud as you can, maybe to drown out your sorrows. How about one for the chief, “I’ve Got The World On A String Sitting On A Rainbow Got The String Around My Finger.” Sad part is, the string is about to break. Title: “Going My Way,” sung by Bing Crosby.
