The Alabama Homemakers and Community Leaders district meeting was held March 19 in Clanton. Easter was the theme and the Calhoun County Homemakers and Community Leaders (CCHCL) were available to help decorate the tables. A grant was presented to Shelia Gaddy, and a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to CCHCL for its many contributions to Calhoun County and surrounding counties. Attendees included left to right, Peggy Crosby, Dorothy Evans, Gail Tidwell, Frances Surrett and Shelia Gaddy.
