Excellent! Few people were rich but, by far, most had enough and very, very few, if any, were destitute, hungry or poor.
What single factor is different now from then? What has changed?
That’s it — greed. Not everyone but most, to varying degrees, consider themselves less fortunate than the average. But that is not absolutely true. Most people sufficiently have, or have available to themselves, everything they need, all rightfully earned through their own efforts. However, to far too many this is insufficient and they greedily expect, even demand, their “rights” to more, more, more.
When our country recognizes, appreciates and returns to the earned self-sufficiency values of yesteryear rather than fostering, embracing and demanding today’s greedy right of more, more, more, then shall we reverently return to freedom, peace and prosperity.
Eliminate greed, return to ethical basics and we get our country back.
For a better tomorrow — today.
